What on earth am I going to do?

So today was the launch on the Kony 2012. A campaign to encourage ppl to stop a very evil man. Its seems like a sound idea, I'm not 100% how I feel about solving violence with violence. I can't help but think that more innocent people will suffer in the process of capturing him.
Today I also was told a story by a girl about how she was raped by multiple men, tied up and forced to work. Her boss would beat her, not give her any money and she was only given food once a day. To escape she sold everything she could. She told me how she was forced to wear short and revealing clothing which she found uncomfortable to wear because she's shy. She would often scream for help but no one came. This was when she was 14. 10 years later she still doesn't know where her family is and she never went to school so she can't read or write.
Today I got an instragram msg from one of my connect group girls in Australia. She is 15. She is bright. She is strong. Words can not describe the opportunity in front of her and her potential.

Three very different things, what do they have in common? I'm posed with one question.
What on earth am I going to do for each one?
I find myself looking at the needs of the world and people and being so overwhelmed. I want to help everyone but I'm just one person. I only have a select amount of skills.
Where do you start?
Usually I have planned message or theme for my blogs but this one is pure thought diarrhea. So here we go.
I think no matter who you are, there are things in the world that stir you or outrage you. Some people are passionate about helping people, some about business. Some are passionate about their friends and family, stopping injustice. etc etc I believe God plants these passions in our lives for a reason. I think we all are meant to do something about these things. Its not up to someone else. That's why we are all stirred by different things because we all have a responsibility. In the western world we tend to get angry about things but not do anything about it. If it stirs us enough maybe we will through some money at it, or post about it in social media. The reality is. The need is always going to be far greater than the solution. Again I think God made it this way. We need to place God as Lord. When we put him in his rightful place we understand that he is able. I think we also under estimate the importance and power of prayer.
"For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms." (Ephesians 6:12 NIV)
This scripture goes on to teach about spiritual armor. So are these passions meant to drive us to a spiritual battle. I think so! That's why we are told about the armour after this scripture. Homework for ya. Read Ephesians 6. Equip yourself ;)
