Blessed beyond measure!

Wow! Today is my birthday and I'm overwhelmed by all the love being sent my way. When my parents had arrived on monday they brought cards from my friends in Perth and I got given some money by a bunch of different people! I am so humbled that people care about what I've been doing and want to support/bless me. Then this is a bit of what my day looked like.
When I woke up my 'Indonesian mum' came is singing to me. I walked out of my room and 11 orphans and the whole household sing to me in English! Then one by one they all come up to me and wished me happy birthday. After a showered I had murtabak, chicken soup and an apple for breakfast. So good!!

Next I went into the office with my mum. All the girls had worn purple because they knew it was my favourite colour. My mum gave an emotional testimony in chapel and the team prayed over me. I felt so blessed, accepted and amazed ppl I had known for such a short time would be so thoughtful!

Then we had organised a lunch for the DM staff at a special restaurant. It was incredibly fun, there was cake, presents, confetti, singing and I couldn't stop smiling. The people here have welcomed me into their big family and I love it!

Then I went with my parents to Ubud. We checked in to the nicest villa I've ever seen in my life. I got pampered with a massage and facial. When I think it's all over the staff come knocking on the villa door to give me a birthday cake and they sang to me too.

To top it all off my phone has been going crazy all day with Facebook notifications and sms's.

Normally, I would love the attention but for once I just don't feel like I deserve it. Don't get me wrong I appreciate every single fragment of it. But then I remembered this:

For you created my inmost being;

you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;

your works are wonderful,

I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you

when I was made in the secret place,

when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body;

all the days ordained for me were written in your book

before one of them came to be. How precious to me are your thoughts, God!

How vast is the sum of them! Were I to count them,

they would outnumber the grains of sand—

when I awake, I am still with you. Search me, God, and know my heart;

God has every moment ordained for us. Whether we are overwhelmed with blessings or in the lowest of circumstances God can lead the way. We must remember he created us perfectly for our own individual purpose. Today I along with all the amazing ppl I encountered celebrated one of God's wonderful creations. Yes that's right me! I often write in people's birthday cards. 'Hope you enjoy yourself today as we celebrate the day God graced us with an incredible gift, YOU!' We must never forget that we are God Almighty's children!!! So don't feel bad about ur blessings like I started to today but know that you are worth it.
There is no one else like you or me on this earth. God made it that way.... Why? Selah on that for a bit. God Bless.
